Artery Nugget X Kit Brief Introduction
Artery is a company based in China and are well known for their ‘Nugget’ line of devices! Here we have the latest device – the Artery Nugget X Kit!
The Nugget X Kit consists of the Nugget X Mod which is a palm-sized box mod with a 2000mAh internal battery. Double the original Nugget mod, and has a wattage range of 5 to 50w! It also has multiple firing mods such as the traditional wattage mode, voltage mode, temperature control and a mechanical style bypass mode! All this inside a box that is about the size of a matchbox!
The AT22 is a 22mm diameter, 2ml capacity, stock coil tank. It has top fill capabilities and is paired with the AL1-B coils that are included in the kit. The Artery Nugget X Kit is currently available in three different colours.

Artery Nugget X Kit – First Impressions
The first thing that stands out for me is the actual size of the Nugget X Kit. It is absolutely TINY! But it’s not small enough to get lost in your hand or render it completely unusable. It fits perfectly in the palm of the hand.
The small yet mighty 0.96 Inch screen on the Nugget X is easy to read and has all the relevant information displayed on there. Including the firing profile, applied wattage, battery life, build resistance and puff counter.
The overall feel of the kit is great as well. It doesn’t feel cheep and tacky. The mirrored accents break up the solid colour of the mod and gives it an edgy look.
The 22mm AT22 Tank sits on top of the Nugget X as an absolute treat without any overhang and the silver, black and red colours match perfectly with the device. Overall a great looking combination!
Artery Nugget X Kit – Performance
As said previously, the Nugget X houses an internal 2000mAh battery. So with me, I would expect it to last at least a day without charging. And it does not disappoint whatsoever. I have had this last me anywhere between three quarters of a day, and a day running anywhere between 30 and 40w.
In terms of hitting the wattage, it does this perfectly. There is a slight delay in firing, to begin with when the Nugget X is on standby, but once it wakes up, that delay dissolves into more or less nothing. The power does seem to subside slightly when the battery life gets to around 25%.
The AT22 tank is slightly less impressive in my opinion. Yes, it looks good, it’s easy to fill etc, but I don’t think that the flavour it produces is anything to write home about. Don’t get me wrong. The flavour is acceptable. But it isn’t up there with the likes of the Uwell Valyrian or the HorizonTech Falcon which are two of my favourite stock coil tanks.
Artery Nugget X Kit – Overall
Overall, really like the look, style and construction of the Artery Nugget X Kit. It looks great, feels great and is perfect for those nights out when you don’t want to take a massive setup.
The only let down is the flavour from the AT22 Tank. It’s good, but it’s not amazing. So if you do have a preferred 22mm tank, I would recommend using that instead. Plus, if it’s a higher resistance, you may get a bit more battery life out of it!
Nevertheless, the Nugget X Kit is great for a little out and about mod when you don’t want something chunky in the pocket, plus, it doesn’t have an absolutely massive price tag, which is a bonus!
Artery Nugget X Kit – Pros & Cons
- Small and discreet
- Great pocket mod
- Average battery life
- Looks awesome
- Easy to use
- Power lessens at low battery
- Not great flavour
Artery Nugget X Kit Video Review
The Devil Vaper
Hi, my name is Dean and I have been vaping since April 2014. I decided to start reviewing back in mid 2015 as my friends kept asking me about different e-liquids I had tried and whether they were worth buying. So I thought I’d start on Instagram writing written reviews for them to read. Then several months later, I saw that people were publishing reviews on YouTube, so in late 2015 ‘TheDevilVaper’ was born! And since then, I have built a following across social media and I’m reviewing anything from starter kits to mech mods. Budget e-liquids to premium flavours and prebuilt coils to carry cases. To me, vaping is more than just a way to quit smoking. It is now a hobby. And a hobby that I have great pleasure in doing! And if my reviews help people ditch the cigarettes, then it’s a job well done.
