Aspire Feedlink Revvo Squonk Kit Preview
The Aspire Feedlink Revvo Squonk Kit features the Aspire Feedlink Single 18650 Squonk mod and the Aspire Boost Revvo Tank. A new squonkable version of the original Revvo tank. It also uses arc style coils (coil compatibility to be determined) in 5 colours: Silver, Black/Blue, Gunmetal/Chrome, Silver/Sunset Red, and Black/Nightsky. Each has a body colour and panel cover. For the first 3, the panels are a textured diamond plated metal which is great for grip. The last 2 colours have a resin look but have a soft rubberized feel to them for comfort. I was lucky to receive samples from both and while I like them, I prefer the rubber ones personally.
The battery is loaded via the bottom with a twist off cap and it takes a single 18650 battery only. The bottle is also removed from the bottom using a quarter turn locking mechanism and is housed inside a plastic housing. To take it out you have to do a quarter turn counter clockwise and it’ll pop out. You then remove the bottle from the plastic housing and unscrew the top to fill it. To put it back in, the bottle goes back into the housing then is inserted in the mod, push up and do a quarter turn clockwise to lock it into place.
Aspire Feedlink Revvo Squonk Kit Continued
The bottle itself is soft silicone with a metal top. Instead of using a straw, the top of the bottle and the bottom of the 510 pin in the mod are both flat. It presses onto it and the rubber seal works really well. The 7ml capacity is generous plus you get an additional 2ml in the tank itself. The mod uses a 5 click to turn on and off and LEDs to let you know the charge of your battery hidden under the fire button.
For the Revvo boost tank, it’s not much different than the original Revvo tank. The main difference is there is no top fill like the original. The only way to fill it is to squonk into it. Meaning to get the full 9ml capacity (7ml in the bottle and 2ml in the tank) you need to fill the bottle, install it, use the bottle to fill the tank, take out the bottle and top it off. I wish there was a top fill method on the tank as well.
Overall I’ve had this for about a week, not enough time to do an actual review, but with the lack of info out there on this kit, I felt it would be nice to preview it since I am liking it so far. It is also the only kit that lets you squonk without having to rebuild coils.
I started vaping in late 2011 to quit chewing tobacco. over the past few years i got a lot more into the hobby side and buying and collecting a lot of gear. Fed up with the lack of good fair reviews i decided to start doing reviews late 2016 and haven’t looked back. I enjoy providing people with technical reviews that are fair and unbiased and from a place of knowledge to help them spend their money wisely.
