Best RDAs for Flavor 2019

Some vapers like to chase flavor while others like to chase clouds. So for today let’s have a look at the best RDAs for flavor on the market. Most flavor RDAs will be dual coilers but there are some really good single coil RDAs as well for flavor. So I’ll include those for people who prefer to use single coil RDAs over dual coil RDAs as they typically use fewer watts, less juice and can be paired with a smaller mod so lots of advantages for going single coil over dual coil. My list of best RDAs for flavor 2019 includes: 

1. Voopoo Pericles RDA

The latest dual coil RDA from Voopoo, mostly popular for their drag mod, was a slam dunk but seemed to be overlooked by many.

Nothing really innovative with it, but they combined the cheetah 2 RDA deck (which was also used in the Bonza RDA) and the Kennedy bottom style airflow (also used in the Tsunami RDA) to come up with a simple, easy to build, flavor monster of an RDA.

It’s a 24 mm RDA with an included squonk pin and is available in 5 main colors, Black, SS, Rainbow, Blue, and Gold and there are some different trim colors for each of those except blue making it 10 color combos in total.

2. Desire Mad Dog V2

This little talked about RDA is a flavor monster with a lot of unique features and some really nice quality and smart designs.

Desire Mad Dog V2 has the unique desire style airflow they started with their Yuri RDA that is proven to be great for flavor. A staggered deck makes it easy to build on and they addressed every minor complaint I had with the V1. The aluminum alloy body does a good job of not getting hot while chain vaping and they include a heat dissipation ring so not hot lips.

They also include a spacer for the RDA that protects your mod from heat and scratches. Just a great performing, well thought our RDA that works well as a dripper with a good size juice well and a squonker with the included squonk pin.

It’s available in 6 colors, Golden, Black, Blue, Purple, Red, and White. Also comes in a kit version with the Innokin Lift STA to make it an RDTA as well.

3. Cthulhu Mjölnir RDA

The latest RDA from Cthulhu Mods is a single coil flavor monster with a unique airflow. Which is designed to give bottom airflow flavor but also allows you to drip down the center with a huge juice well. You can use that juice well to act as an RDTA when squonking which is really smooth due to the layered air.

It doesn’t need a massive build either and great for single battery mods both squonk mods and regular mods if you are a dripper thanks to the innovative double chamber design which makes it perform like a 20 mm low profile RDA while keeping the chamber cool so no hot lips and reducing spit back.

If you are a flavor chaser and like easy to use RDAs with nice juices wells, you’ll never go wrong with this one.

4. Geekvape Loop RDA

This RDA also flew under the radar a bit. It is slightly better than its V1.5 counterpart, which is also a good option if you can’t find the original.

The unique “W” shaped build deck winds up being a postless deck with bottom airflow that is good for dripping and good for squonking with excellent flavor and a nice deep juice well.

It comes with a squonk pin and is available in 4 colors SS, Black, Gold, and Gunmetal.

5. Augvape BTFC RDA

This RDA from Augvape is the latest one from them. Augvape is a company that used to be popular but fell off the map a little has had a really nice 2018 with the Templar RDA, Intake RTA, and this BTFC RDA.

It’s designed in collaboration with popular YouTube reviewer Vapnfagan. It is named for “Bottom Top Flavor Clouds” meaning that it is an RDA with both bottom airflow and top airflow, which allows you to close off the top for flavor or open the top for more air and bigger clouds.

It’s a 25 mm RDA with a postless build deck. Included squonk pin and is available in 4 colors; SS, Black, Gunmetal and Rainbow.

6. Vandy Vape Bonza RDA

This RDA is made by Vandy Vape. He has made a ton of atomizers in 2018 and many good ones including this one here which was designed in collaboration with popular Aussie YouTube reviewer The Vaping Bogan.

It features the cheetah 2 deck which is also used in the Voopoo Pericles on this list meaning that it’s easy to build and a ton of air flows. It’s the airiest RDA on this list but can pump out some massive flavor if you like massive builds. It does need the largest builds on this list for flavor though.

It’s a 24 mm RDA with an included squonk pin and a deep juice well and it’s available in 5 colors, Matte Black, SS, Gold, Rainbow, and Matte Grey.

7. Voopoo Rune RDA

The second RDA by Voopoo on this list. This RDA is the polar opposite of the Bonza RDA in that it’s the least airy RDA on this list and the best dual coil option for smaller builds due to that.

It may not only have the most eye-catching aesthetics, but also very good build quality. The airflow is reasonably smooth, and if you get the building right,  it can produce excellent flavor.

Featuring a postless deck, a nice juice well and a squonk pin, it’s available in 6 colors, Rainbow, Gold, Black, S-black, S-blue, and Silver

8. Asmodus C4 RDA

This is my second favorite single coil RDA of the year behind the Mjölnir RDA. This little talked about RDA is great for flavor as well.

A little behind the Mjolnir RDA but far from a slouch. It works best as a squonker but has a decently sized juice well to drip a little. This RDA comes in a lot of color options. So if you are looking to match a specific set up, this is a great option to look at. It’s nothing innovative but it just works well.

Asmodus doesn’t get a lot of attention for their RDAs just mostly their mods but they really nailed this one.
