Hello dear vapers, Mike Strong here again. Several months ago, I posted an article entitled Best Vape Pens for 2018 so far on The Vaping Times, and I decided to keep that trend going with this article. Today I am going to talk about the Best RTA of 2018 so far!
My List of Best RTA 2018 Includes:
1. Geekvape Blitzen RTA
Geekvape Blitzen RTA comes first in this best RTA list. The Blitzen RTA is one of the latest offerings by the powerhouse that is Geekvape. The Blitzen is reminiscent of the Aromatizer RTA that hit our shelves a couple of years ago but brings updated features and even better vape quality.
This 24mm atomizer comes with multiple glass options to give you between 2ml capacity and 5ml capacity with the bubble glass option. This RTA features a postless dual coil deck with slotted screws at the size of the deck.
It features a honeycomb airflow that is as close to the coils as you can get, bringing a smooth airflow and superb flavor. The large wicking holes allow your liquid to saturate the cotton giving you a juicy, moist vape experience! It also comes with a unique “snakeskin” wide bore drip tip that varies in color depending on the tank color, that just looks awesome!
The build quality of this tank is phenomenal and provides you with the high standard that you expect from Geekvape!

- Innovative airflow design
- Killer cloud
- Killer Flavour
- Smooth airflow

2. Wotofo Bravo RTA
Wotofo is also well-known for their incredible products such as the Troll RDA / RTA and the Serpent RTA, and they have now released the Bravo RTA.
This is a 25mm RTA that comes with a “half turn” top fill system and a resin style 810 drip tip depending on which color tank you choose (are you noticing a trend?). The tank is capable of 4.5ml capacity as standard and a whopping 6ml with the bubble glass. Even with your juice guzzling builds, that’s enough to keep you topped up all day!
The deck on the Bravo RTA is something special too and features a clamp style deck that flattens against your coils when you tighten one of the 4 x Philips head screws. This is perfect for your flatter wire builds, and features a banked airflow to direct the flow directly underneath the coils.
The large juice flow holes will compensate your larger builds (tested up to 3mm fused Clapton) to deliver a constant flow of liquid to your cotton, to give you a dense vaping experience.

3. Blitz Intrepid RTA
Although I haven’t heard of Blitz before this product, they have done extremely well and should have a place in my best RTA list!
This 24.5mm RTA has a 3.5mm capacity (no extra bubble on this) and a unique postless deck. The deck is separated down the middle by a ceramic block that accommodates for either a single or a dual coil build. This is the first of the RTAs I have mentioned that can officially take a single coil.
The ceramic block sits between the positive and negative posts and provides the airflow underneath the coil. The block is press fit into the deck with an o-ring (time will tell if this holds up with regular changes) and means you can build the coil very close to the deck without a worry of shorting.
The tank features a pretty unique hinged top cap for filling and it locks into place with a satisfying click. The drip tip on this is also pretty unique, in so much that is doesn’t push into the body, but the drip tip is more of a resin sleeve that sits around the mouthpiece on the top cap. Unfortunately, this means you have to use the proprietary ones, but I really enjoy the airflow and feel of the “drip tip”.
Blitz Intrepid RTA Pros & Cons
- The vapour output is immense with flat coils.
- The flavour output is beautiful with round section coils.
- Clever Design
- Excellent Easy Top Fill
- Good Kit With 3 Drip Tips
- Excellent Capacity
- No Leaks
- Sturdy Tank
- Airflow is too open for me.
- I found single coil build a bit difficult.

4. Digiflavor Pharaoh Mini RTA
Digiflavor Pharaoh Mini RTA offers unparalleled flavor and one of the most user-friendly build decks in the industry. This is a truly unique RTA which features a dual bridge clamp post deck with quad post holes for the largest builds for large builds and massive cloud production on command.
Expand your e–juice capacity or keep it simple with a variable 2mL or 5mL tank glass section built to please a many vapers. This top-filled RTA allows for on the go fill ups and a tightly sealed tank section bound to offer a reliable RTA experience for seasoned vapers and those who are new to the RTA game.
A juice flow control will allow vapers to introduce a greater volume of e–juice into the cotton or reduce the flow of e-juice for the greatest control possible.
The RTA contains the 810 PEI drip tip which is used to enhance cloud production and reduce heat, providing a pleasant draw each time. In my opinion, Digiflavor Pharaoh Mini RTA deserves a place in this best RTA list.

- Airflow clicks in place
- Multiple included drip tips

5. Geekvape Creed RTA
Geekvape Creed RTA is a 25mm RTA with unique interchangeable internal chambers which greatly improve airflow of the RTA. This package has three different chambers: one solid chamber, one vertical grill slotted chamber, and one rounded grill patterned chamber.
Each interchangeable chamber is designed to align the air ports directly to the coils. Airflow is adjusted by a knurled bottom ring which has two 10mm x 3mm air slots.
The Geekvape Creed RTA comes pre-installed with a 6.5ml bubble glass and has a 4.5ml standard glass for replacement, featuring a threaded top-filling cap with two wide juice ports.
This RTA is capable of single or dual coil builds. The build deck has two large 9mm x 3mm wicking ports.
The RTA has three drip tips: a 14mm tapered bore ULTEM drip tip, an 11mm standard bore frosted 810 drip tip, and a 12mm tapered bore Delrin 810 drip tip. It also has a stainless steel and glass construction and a gold plated 510 connection.

6. Augvape Intake 24mm RTA
Augvape Intake RTA is a 24mm rebuildable tank atomizer with a quarter turn threaded top cap with top-filling capability, exposing two large filling ports, allowing the RTA to hold 4.2ml of e-juice.
The build deck of Augvape Intake is a two-post build deck which must be removed from the RTA base.
Airflow enters the Intake RTA through two adjustable top air slots which measure at 10mm x 3mm each and can be fully closed. A 8mm-wide bore delrin drip tip enables the vaper to intake enough vapor. However, for more versatility, a 510 drip tip adapter is included.
The Augvape Intake RTA is a simple RTA, perfect for those who are looking for an RTA which can be used as a regular or shorty-sized rebuildable tank atomizer. From my point of view, Augvape Intake RTA should be included in this best RTA list.
