Things are going smaller and smaller these days but there hasn’t been a ton of these mods released that were actually good sadly, but thankfully enough to give some options as most single battery mods are trending towards being 2×700 mods instead. Which can still take a single 18650 battery if you please. However here are the best options for single 18650 only mods for 2019.
Best Single 18650 Battery Mods – 1. Vaptio Wall Crawler
A small single 18650 mod with the “Pico” style meaning it has a battery cap raised above the top of the mod. Unlike the Pico mods, however, this features a nice bright large color front facing screen and a nice fire bar instead of a fire button all in a small compact package.
Also unlike the Pico series, it performs well in TC mode as well as power mode where the Pico series lacks in temp control mode. It also has quite a few more features as well like watt curve mode. If you like the Pico series, you’ll love the Wall Crawler Mod as it’s basically a better version of that and this mod can also take a 25 mm atomizer like the Pico 25 can where the original Pico was limited to 22 mm atomizers which are rare these days.
The Wall Crawler name comes from the design of the mod which has a design like a spiderman’s suit and is available in 4 colors blue, silver, red and black.

Best Single 18650 Battery Mods – 2. Uwell Nunchaku
This single 18650 battery mod is a tube style mod which is pretty rare these days and is one of 2 on my list along with the Joyetech Ultex T-80 below.
There are a few other options out there like the Ehpro 101 which I found to be subpar and the Dicodes which I have never owned but are quite expensive. Uwell with this mod gives a premium feel at an affordable price as far as stick mods go.
It has a nice weight and build to it and is capable of 80-watt output. It does feature temp control mode for Ti, Ni200 and SS wire but no TCR mode and it doesn’t work well at all so not a good choice for temp control vapers. If you don’t care about temp control, however, it’s a great performing power mode that’s built really nice and looks great and quite comfortable and can handle a 25 mm atomizer without overhang.
It also helps that it comes in a kit with a matching tank and the tank itself is excellent making it one of the best kits as well. It’s available in 7 colors Iridescent (Rainbow), Purple, Sapphire Blue, Metallic Green, Full Black, Black and Gold and Stainless Steel.

Best Single 18650 Battery Mods – 3. Battlestar Mini
This little single 18650 battery mod takes on the Battlestar name which was a dual 18650 mod from Smoant released a few years back and was a community favorite mod due to it’s heavy duty build quality and good performance and affordable price.
The Battlestar Mini follows in those footsteps as a solid built mod but for single battery and an 80 watt limit. It features a good size black and white screen and unlike the other box mods on this list, it’s a taller and slimmer mod with a magnetic backplate for the battery over the screw off cap style.
It also works well in temp control mode and power mode and is available in 2 colors, Black and Yellow.

Similar in performance and style to the Nunchaku mod above, this single 18650 tube style regulated mod doesn’t offer much difference than the Nunchaku does.
It’s a good mod for power mode but lacking in temp control and also the tank paired with this mod is awful and not worth buying in a kit. The mod, however, is pretty good and if you don’t like the plain style of the Uwell nunchaku mod, this one has a little bit extra to it.
It’s available in 5 colors Dazzling (rainbow), Sky Blue, Gold, Silver, and Matte Black.
