Best Squonk Mods 2018

I have been squonking for about 12 months now and have a couple of squonk mods. Some as my everyday mod and others as my out and about vape. Don’t get me wrong, I’m in no way a squonking expert, but I know what I like, and I like what I vape. Through my reviews on my blog, I am lucky enough to try out quite a few different squonk mods, both mechanical and regulated. So I wanted to take this opportunity to put forward my list of best squonk mods from the selection I have tried.

Best Squonk Mods 2018 – 1. Geekvape GBOX 200W Squonk Kit

Personally I prefer regulated mods, mainly due to the consistency of the vaping experience that the device delivers. My go-to regulated squonker has to be the Geekvape GBOX 200W Squonk Kit, paired with the RADER RDA.

The GBOX has an integrated, powerful and accurate AS chipset and large OLED display to bring you a great interactive experience. GBOX Squonker Kit is powered by dual high-rate 18650 batteries with a maximum output up to 200W.

I find that at around 50W, with a simple dual coil build is perfect. I can vape all day, and long into the evening, on a set of fully charged 18650’s. The GBOX Squonker Mod comes with a large 8ml firm squonk bottle to satisfy your daily needs.

When you are getting low you can simply pop open the bottom hatch, with the simple spring clip and slide your bottle out for refilling. Geekvape have also added a shut off valve on the solid metal tube, which cleverly prevents any leakage when changing the bottle.

Included in the kit is the perfectly matched Geekvape Rader RDA with 24mm diameter, featuring an innovative build deck for easy coil building. It has both 510 and 810 drip tips. Plus a top airflow system offering pure flavors and tremendous vapor. I really can’t fault the set up, hence why it has made it on my best squonk mods 2018 list.

Best Squonk Mods 2018 – 2. Vandy Vape Pulse Squonk Kit

Developed and design by Tony B over at the Vapor Trail, in association with Vandy Vape, the Pulse Squonk Kit, has to be my favorite unregulated squonker.

It’s faultless design, and great value has opened up unregulated squonking to a whole new generation of vapers. It’s modular design, means that you can easily remove the front and rear panels, to create a whole new look.

With the included adapter sleeve you can run the pulse on either a single 18650 or 20700. It features a really nice springy fire button, with an integrated slider switch, to disable the device from firing, when it’s in your pocket.

The Pulse Kit includes the Vandy Vape Pulse 24, with tubular Airflow design and postless build deck. To create a marriage made in heaven.

Rather than a firm plastic bottle included in the GBOX, the Pulse features a super soft Silicone Squonk bottle, which allows you to effortlessly soak the cotton, and give you a precise amount of control over how much juice you need.

Best Squonk Mods 2018 – 4. Dovpo Basium 180W VV Squonk MOD

Best Squonk Mods 2018 – 7. Wotofo x Mike Vapes Recurve 80W

For squonk lovers everywhere, the Wotofo Recurve Squonk Mod produced by Wotofo and Mike Vapes is a must have. This squonk mod has a chip for safety but does not have a display and the wattage is not adjustable. The Recurve Squonk Mod has a rubberized finish outside which feels good to touch.

The squonk mod is even compatible with four different types of cells. A 20700 and 21700 battery can fit without an adapter. In the box, there are two battery adapters, one for 18650 and the other for 26650.

The squonk mod has a maximum wattage of 80w, depending on your build. It can accept builds as low as .08. Besides, with the included USB charging cable, you can even charge your batteries at a rate of 2 amps. The squonk bottle included has a capacity of 8ml of e-liquid.

Best Squonk Mods 2018 – 8. Eleaf Pico Squeeze 2 

Eleaf Pico Squeeze 2 supports both 21700 and 18650 batteries. 21700 battery compatibility is a big plus compared with other popular squonk mods, such as the Vandy Vape Pulse 80w, which supports only 18650 and 20700 batteries, or the Wismec Luxotic, which supports only 18650 battery.

If you want to buy a single-cell, regulated squonk mod with a long battery life, then you cannot go wrong with the Pico Squeeze 2. The Eleaf Pico Squeeze 2 features both on-board battery fast charging, so you needn’t to worry if you happen to run out of battery.

The Pico Squeeze  is as reliable as any other member of the Pico family. Thanks to Eleaf’s new Avatar chip, you can expect lightning-fast firing as well as accurate resistance reading and power output. Its squonk bottle works well although softer than most and doesn’t leak.

Its build quality is one of the best I’ve ever seen. The Eleaf Pico Squeeze 2 is my favorite of all the single-battery regulated squonk mods I’ve tested recently.
