As you go on your vaping journey and make the move to more advanced mods, you’re going to need to get a battery charger, and if like me, you like your gadgets, especially ones you can control with your phone, then look no further than the Efest LUC Blu6 Bluetooth 6 bay charger.
The Efest LUC Blu6 has six charging channels, each channel supports various lithium and NI-MH batteries.
Each bay has an independent monitoring and control function with the LCD screen, which cycles between battery voltage, real-time operating current, and charging mode.
Featuring three charging currents (0.5A/1A/2A), to allow you to choose between fast charging, which will act as more of a rapid charge, to the 0.5A trickle charge, which is perfect for overnight charging. Each bay can run at a maximum charging current of 2A, with the maximum total charging current of 4A, meaning that you can charge 6 batteries at 0.5A or any combination up to a total of 4A across the whole charging unit.
For example, the first and sixth bay can deliver 2A simultaneously to charge two 25500 and/or 26650 batteries. When using the first and sixth bay, the Efest LUC Blu6 will be at max charging capacity and will not provide power to bays two through to four. Second through to the fifth bay delivers 0.5A and/or 1A to simultaneously charge any combination of the four 10440, 14500, 14650, 16340, 16650, 17650, 17670, 17350, 18490, 18500, 18650, 22650 batteries.
With a built-in transformer and over-current, over-voltage, short-circuit and reverse polarity protection, the Efest LUC Blu6 has your safety covered.
The main thing that drew me to the Efest LUC Blu6 was the Integrated Bluetooth APP module, which allows you to monitor your battery charging from the comfort of your armchair, no more getting up to see if your batteries are charged yet.
With the built-in App at a glance, I can double check which of my batteries have charged, and which ones can be swapped over. I really like the App. It works well and gives you clear information about the batteries that are on charge.

Living with the Efest LUC Blue6 Everyday
I have owned this charger for a few months now and have been really pleased with it. It allows me to keep all the batteries fully charged. I must admit, due to the Auto Stop function I tend to leave the battery in the charger until I either need the space to charge another battery or need the battery to run one of my Mods.
The optional charging modes took a little while to get used to as you need to make sure that you charge the correct batteries in the correct places. For example, I have to put my 20650 batteries at either end of the charging bay if not they won’t work. As far as charging, I always charge the batteries on the o.5 A. Although a longer charge, I find the batteries, when charged, last a lot longer in the device.
Strangely the thing that drew me to this charge has turned out to be the thing that I use the least, and actually, I very rarely do. I check the battery charge via the App. I just tend to look at it as I walk past to see if the light has changed from RED to GREEN. And the fact that it only works over Bluetooth is a bit limiting as I am so used to using and checking my devices via my Google Home and it would be great to be able to integrate my charger with my Google Home Mini or check the device using WiFi or maybe that will be the next update that comes along.
