Ladies & Gents! Mikethevaper here again. Today I want to tell you about a product that has recently been released, the new Geekvape Athena Squonk Kit with BF RDA!
Geekvape Athena Squonk Kit First Impression
I am extremely excited to give this thing a try. It is the first “Squonk” mod and “bottom feed” RDA from Geekvape. Geekvape have some fantastic products on the market such as the Griffin & Avocado, and for many they are go to tanks. Therefore this new direction should follow that reputation with a high end Squonker.
I have always found that the quality of Geekvape products is much higher than you would expect for the price point. I feel that they actually listen to what people want out of a product and bring out things that have had some serious thought put into them.
Geekvape Athena Squonk Kit Features and Specs
The Athena kit is a mechanical box mod with bottom feed atomiser. It is available in Silver, Gunmetal, Blue and Black. It is an aluminium , single 18650 mechanical mod box with two magnetic doors (so you can change the colours up if you wish), a 6.5ml soft silicone “squonk” bottle and a pretty ingenious locking mechanism. There is a large locking switch on the front that stops the device firing by accident, and when unlocked the button pushes the copper plated internal switch to complete the circuit. The box also has a “self adjusting” 510 pin for all your atomisers with long and shorts 510 pins to avoid leakage.
The box is 73mm x 46mm x 25mm ( 2.8inch x 1.8inch x 0.98 inch for you imperialists)
The RDA is a 24mm, “postless”, stainless steel number that has angled top airflow for improved flavour. We also have a deep juice well and the necessary hole in the 510 for squonking. It is compatible with 810 drip tips as standard (included) and also 510 with the adapter (also included). It has a protruding 510 too in case you have any hybrid mods you want to use it on.
