Today we will talk about a new MTL starter kit from Geekvape, the Flint Starter Kit, which is a pod kit designed for both nicotine salt e-liquid and regular e-liquid. There have been a lot of rumors about it, so I was very excited to get my hands on it and start the test.

First Impressions of the Flint Kit
It comes in an elegant looking package. Inside there is the kit, spare parts and manual. The mod and the tank are well machined too. On the bottom of the tube mod we have some venting holes and on the sides, we have the fire button, the micro-USB connection, and the Geekvape signature.
The tank is tiny, with a 22 mm diameter, the bottom side is a regular airflow, and a slide to fill method. It also has an Ultem drip tip that’s pre-installed so we won’t be able to change it.
How the Geekvape Flint Starter Kit Works
To use the kit, you have to screw in the coils and put the liquid in the tank with the slide-fill-method.
With 5 clicks the mod turns on. It has 3 LED indicators that will help us to choose the power mode and understand the battery level. When the LED blinks green, the battery range is between 70% – 100%, blue is between 31% and 69%, and the red is between 0% and 30%. With 3 clicks we can choose the power mode we want to, green for the powerful one, blue for the middle one, and red for the lesser one.

Final Thoughts
In conclusion, I really like the simple sleek design of the Geekvape Flint Starter Kit. It is really cool and compact. With a 1000 mAh built-in battery, it enjoys a long battery life. Its coil life is good for the type of device and its AFC is easy to adjust and smooth. Although the cloud production isn’t great, the coil flavor is perfect for an MTL premade.
