Hellvape Drop Dead RDA Preview
In this article we will take a quick look at the Hellvape Drop Dead RDA. RDA or rebuildable dripping atomizer is a widely popular atomizer among vape enthusiasts worldwide. While some stick with the tried and true sub tanks, many vapers take advantage of the total control a rebuildable atomizer offers.
RDAs are about as pure of a vaping experience as you can get. They come in many shapes and sizes and offer different features to cater to a wide variety of vapers.
Once in a while an RDA will come along that gathers the attention of vapers worldwide. About a year ago, there were two of those RDAs. One was the Hellvape Dead Rabbit, a 24mm RDA with a huge juice well and an abnormally high build deck. The other was the Digiflavor Drop. While the Dead Rabbit garnered most of the fame, the Drop had a large following of dedicated fans.
Dead Rabbit RDA
The Dead Rabbit RDA was designed in collaboration with The Vaping Heathen, a widely known YouTube reviewer. The Drop was designed in collaboration with The Vapor Chronicles.
HellVape has bestowed upon the world the best of both RDA’s combined into one with the Drop Dead RDA, a collaboration between the Vaping Heathen and The Vapor Chronicles.
Stick around for this First Look to find out why the Drop Dead RDA about to take the vaping world by storm.

The Drop Dead RDA
HellVape hit it big with the Dead Rabbit and it only made sense that they should follow it up with something a bit different. Joining forces with Digiflavor and combining the best of both the Drop and the Dead Rabbit was most likely not what most people expected but, here we are with the Drop Dead RDA.
The Drop Dead RDA shares a similar appearance on the outside to the original Dead Rabbit but that is where the cosmetic similarities end. As far as the functional comparison goes, the airflow on the Drop Dead is adapted from the Dead Rabbit which offers a downward slanted airflow. Many users have said this to be one of the best types of airflow, offering an exceptional flavor experience.
If we dive deeper into the Drop Dead RDA and look towards the build deck, this is where we start to see the resemblance to the Drop RDA. Unlike the Dead Rabbit build deck, the Drop had more of a normal style deck, featuring a postless design. The Dead Rabbit also featured a postless design with small channels for the coil leads to flow through for easy cutting which did not make it to the Drop Dead RDA.
The Drop Dead RDA Continued
The Drop Dead is almost a 50/50 split between Dead Rabbit design and Drop design. Die-hard Dead Rabbit fans may not take to the Drop Dead as it does not carry over many of the key features that made the Dead Rabbit such a popular atomizer. Even myself, as a Dead Rabbit user, find that the Drop Dead lacks the things I love about the Dead Rabbit. The high build deck on the Dead Rabbit allows for more cotton within the RDA as well as opening up more room for a deeper juice well.
Perhaps the differences that are left out will have no bearing on the performance of this RDA. Digiflavor Drop fans can rejoice in the fact that they can continue to build on the Drop Dead the same way as the Drop. Fortunately, they will also benefit from the excellent airflow design that the Dead Rabbit offers up.

No matter the differences, the Drop Dead combines two of the most popular RDAs of 2017/2018 and certainly, the result should be fairly positive. Both of these hardware designers make some top-notch products and the quality seems to be pretty great. At such a low cost for a promising atomizer, enthusiasts alike should be adding this to their collection.
