The Kaees Aladdin BF RDA is the latest RDA from the not very well known vape manufacturer: Kaees. They released the Solomon RTA in 2017 which proved to be an excellent RTA. Single coil Kaees Aladdin BF RDA has triple airflow (top, side, and bottom). It also comes with a BF pin for all you squonk lovers. The deck design itself is very similar to that of the Oumier Wasp Nano and quite easy to build on. It’s available in 3 colors Black, SS, and Rainbow.

Kaees Aladdin BF RDA Initial Impressions
While the market is booming for dual coil RDA, the single coil RDA market hasn’t been as popular. This is largely due to it not being affordable to mass-produced RDAs. Kaees has clearly made this device to fill the gap in the market. With the growing popularity of single battery squonking mods too this is crucial.
It comes with a squonk BF pin as well as a regular pin. What’s unique about this is that most single coil RDAs on the market use side airflow. The Aladdin has bottom, side, and top airflow. Now let’s go over the details!
Kaees Aladdin BF RDA Build Deck and Wicking
The Kaees Aladdin has a 2 post deck just like the Wasp nano RDA. Each lead is secured by a post screw and gets its own hole. There are 2 holes, 1 on each side. With the screw coming top down making it good for both flat and round wires. I found the coil position to be best when you can see the bottom half through the side airflow holes. It comes with nice quality hex grub screws and a spare set.
Wicking is pretty easy overall. It’s an RDA so no tricks needed. You can drop the ends of the cotton on the deck. You are going to drip on it or squonk on it so no need to worry much. Just make sure the cotton in the coil isn’t too tight to choke it.
Kaees Aladdin BF RDA Performance
Performance wise, I used it as a single coil RDA as intended. My max recommendation is 4mm. However, 2.0-3.5mm also worked well. I’d say 3mm is the most ideal so it can handle some big builds for sure. Personally, I ran mostly fancy wires such as fused claptons and aliens. Mainly I ran a couple of round wire builds too.
All of them worked well but I prefer the fused clapton. Overall the flavor was above average for a single coil RDA. Right up there with the wasp nano, nudge 22 and pulse 22. For the airflow, I always left the top closed as it didn’t do much at all. With larger builds, I used the side and bottom air. For smaller builds, I used the bottom air only. Personally, I found it best with a large fancy coil, 3mm ID with side and bottom airflow fully open.
Kaees Aladdin BF RDA Extras
It’s a triple airflow RDA. The bottom has the “pig snout” style as I call it. Bottom air is not adjustable but also very little. It’s a very restrictive DTL vape with bottom air only. Side air is easily adjustable by turning the whole top cap. The top air is useless and really hard to adjust. The o-rings are too tight. It would have been better to leave this out completely.
It comes with an ultem 510 drip tip. The quality is really nice on this RDA, outside of the top air being so hard to adjust. It’s a 24mm diameter so should not overhang on any mod really. It includes a standard 510 pin and a squonk BF 510 pin.
The juice well is pretty small. It can’t really handle much extra juice on top of that especially with the pig snout style bottom airflow. Very easy to over drip or over squonk with this RDA. I used it exclusively as a squonker. I used it on several mods; the Therion BF 75C, VTinbox, Hotcig RSQ, and Wismec Luxotic. The airflow is pretty smooth and not loud. One side has the Kaees Lion face logo for branding.
- Good Flavor
- Squonk pin included (and regular pin for non-squonking)
- Standard 510 tip (Ultem)
- Easy to build (great build deck)
- Price point
- Color options
- Good quality
- Top airflow hard to adjust and isn’t needed
- Easy to over squonk or over drip and creating a leak
- Small juice well
Kaees Aladdin BF RDA Conclusion
So with all that said, do I recommend this RDA? I don’t like to do a hard yes or no, but this one iI’mgoing to lean towards a yes. I have a few personal gripes with it. Like the top airflow and the lack of over drip protection, but at the end of the day ,the performance is there.
If you don’t mind being careful with your dripping or squonking. It’s a great performing single coil RDA thats easy to build on. It’s right in line with other affordable single coil squonking RDAs too. The pulse 22, nudge 22 and wasp nano are just some. The Aladdin adds another good option to all those single battery squonkers on the market
I started vaping in late 2011 to quit chewing tobacco. over the past few years i got a lot more into the hobby side and buying and collecting a lot of gear. Fed up with the lack of good fair reviews i decided to start doing reviews late 2016 and haven’t looked back. I enjoy providing people with technical reviews that are fair and unbiased and from a place of knowledge to help them spend their money wisely.
