I first saw Tigertek Morphe RDA at the October Vapor Expo in Birmingham last year. I was impressed with their fresh take on the classic design of RDA‘s and tanks. Incorporating the innovative spring-post design, it brings vapers a clean design and super convenience when building.
The Tigertek Morphe RDA continues with the Tigertek tradition of using the spring-post systems rather than the standard holes and grub screws or screws & clamps, seem on most atomisers on the market.
This single coil RDA offers plenty of space to fit in some of your biggest builds. With generous slots on both sides on the spring-posts, it allows for both right and left handed coils.
The fully adjustable Airflow slots run directly through the sides of the the spring-posts. Situated to directly hit the sides of the coil, when the coils are fitted face down in the build deck. Or as in the build I installed, face up, and just pressed down into the juice well, to ensure the coils lined up with the air-slots.
The installation process could be simpler. Simple press down the top of each spring-post with your finger or thumb, and slide the coil tail into the slot.
The upward pressure of the spring and clamp securely holds the coil in place. You can the bend the other coil tail round and into the slot in the other post, with a bit of manoeuvering, and quick press both sides are in place, and the coil is held firm. Then it’s just a matter of cutting off the excess from the coil tails and your ready to wick.
It was actually a little strange installing a coil without getting all my tools out.
There plenty of room for wicking due to the channel design, of the build deck, sliding your wicks through and tucking them down into the nice deep juice well.
As with all good RDA’s the Morphe comes with a choice of either the standard 510 pin, or the hollowed out Squonk pin, to transform the RDA for use with your favourite Squonker.
I found when attached to the GBOX Squonker it performed exceptional well. With great juice flow into the extra deep, juice well, wicking perfectly.
The Morphe defiantly has a stand out design, with its turbine blade style top cap, and machine hatching on the installed 810 drip Tip.
Unusually the 810 drip Tip seems to be made of metal. I did find the hatching detail to be a little uncomfortable on the lips. So I found myself swapping it out for one of my other tips.
Performance wise, I was really impressed with the Tigertek Morphe RDA, super smooth direct Airflow, solid flavour production. With an amazing little build deck, it is a pleasure to build on. Tigertek is defiantly a manufacture to look out for in 2018. And the Tigertek Morphe RDA is a must have for all you single coilers out there.
