Vandy Vape Pulse X BF Kit Review

Hello vapers, welcome back. Today I want to review the Vandy Vape Pulse X BF Kit. I got the ”High-end” version from Sourcemore, thanks to them for sending me this product to make this review. In the ”X” version of the kit, Vandy Vape added the possibility to use 21700 batteries and a firmware upgrade that gives the possibility to run the mod at 90W.

So let’s take a close look at its specifications and hear my opinions about it.

First Impressions on Vandy Vape Pulse X BF Kit:

The ”High-End” version of these kits comes in an exquisite package with a window that shows you the inside of it, so you will be able to see the Pulse X Mod, the Pulse X RDA, the Airflow Frosted Cap, and the 30ml refill bottle.

Under the panel, we have the spare parts bag, one USB cable for the firmware upgrades, a manual, a warranty card and 2 coils. I got the transparent green coloration that comes with very lovely matching drip tips. The quality of the materials used seem to be great. The battery slot has a spring-loaded negative side that allows you to fit in even a 21700 battery. The shape of the mod is ergonomic and has a nice looking design, same thing for the RDA and its engravings.

The atomizer has a pyramidal shaped deck that allows us to build and wick our coils vertically or horizontally. The e-juice will come from the top to then be sucked back from the deep juice well guaranteeing correct affluence of it.

The only thing that left me a bit disappointed is the dimension of the coils that comes in the kit. They look a bit too small for this spacious deck.

How does the chip works?

As many of the mods in the market, you have to click the fire button 5 times to turn it on, so holding the fire button and the plus button you can lock the device, holding fire and negative you can flip the screen and with positive and negative you can enter the menu.

So in the menu, we got the DIY function, the temperature control mode, the boost system, the chip ID and Version. From the menu, we can join the settings and turn off specific mod in the menu system but also manage certain modalities. With 3 clicks on the fire button, you can switch the different modalities.

Final Thoughts on Vandy Vape Pulse X BF Kit 

So let’s give a conclusion to this review. The Vandy Vape Pulse X Mod is an excellent squonk mod, which is easy to use. We finally got the 21700 battery option that gives us a longer battery life. The chipset is perfect and I think this is one of the best-circuited squonk mod in the market.

Unfortunately, I can’t say the same about the RDA. It is just an atomizer in the average. You can get some thick and dense cloud out of it but I don’t like the flavor that comes out with the Stainless Steel top cap as it has a restricted airflow that makes the temperature increase and gets really hot. Instead, we can get a decent flavor out the second cup that comes with the kit. So, in conclusion, I can recommend this mod to everyone as it is well made and has a beautiful aesthetic, but I can’t recommend the RDA as I think the only reason to buy is for collectibles.
