Today we are going to take a quick look at the WISMEC Active Bluetooth Music TC Kit from Wismec. Wismec has been a major player in the industry ever since the release of their original RX200 a few years ago. The RX series is still being made today and is also co-designed by Jay-Bo.
Over the years Wismec has branched out of the RX series and added many new items to their offering. Standard items offered by Wismec include tanks, mods and starter kits. They have hit the spot on just about every avenue of vaping from the low wattage, flavor chasers to the high wattage cloud chasers.
Vaping as a whole sees quite a bit of innovation. Since the introduction of Temperature Control, we have not really seen any groundbreaking tech come our way. Instead, manufacturers tend to lean towards gimmick features and add-ons. Touchscreen mods came and went in a hurry as if there was not already enough problems to deal with in the mod world, the vape phone also came and went..and many more gimmicks.
Wismec is bringing us another gimmick feature with their new Bluetooth Music TC mod. The gimmick is…you guessed it, a Bluetooth speaker. While we do have some concerns about this feature, it could be a fun addition to your growing collections.

Impressions and Expectations
Wismec is a company that many love but there are still a large group of people who do not. Wismec gained a somewhat bad reputation for not listening to their customers and releasing sub-par products with a wide array of issues.
Over the years since the release of the RX200, it seems that Wismec has made some changes for the better. Common 510 issues do arise with some Wismec products as with many of their previous devices. 510 failures were a major issue for Wismec for a couple years after their launch.
The last couple devices have seemed to function better and a considerable amount fewer users are reporting issues with them so we can expect that this new mod will be able to hold it’s own and accept any atomizer that is thrown at it.
The Music TC Kit ships along with the Armour tank as well as a good selection of accessories.
The first thing we would like to point out is the shape of the device and the appearance of the dimensions from the pictures we have seen. It would seem as though the Music TC is a tad “boxy” and perhaps(we could be wrong) not very hand friendly. It looks as though it’s going to take quite a grip to get around it.
This device is classed as an “active” style mod. It is touted as being shock resistant as well as water resistant. There tends to be some gray area here when it comes to the environmental resistance of devices.
While it is shock resistant, we would point out that this does not include dropping the device which could still result in a break.
There are no IP ratings available for this device so we can assume that it still needs to be treated well to avoid any catastrophic failures.
The box also features a textured rubber grip around the entire outside edge to aid in a good grip when damp conditions arise, so this would be a great mod for exercises.
Our one main concern about this being a Bluetooth speaker is the battery life. There is a built-in 2100mAh battery which when used for just vaping, should be fine to make it through most of an average day. With the device also running a Bluetooth connection the battery life is going to seriously degrade.
Wismec should have made this device to accept 20700 or 21700 batteries, as it would allow device owners to use the Bluetooth as well as vape with the device and not have to worry about the battery.
Secondly, with a device this small, the speaker is not going to be very large nor very loud. These oversights almost make the device not worthwhile.
As just a vaping device it would perform just fine. With enough power to suit any vaping need the Music TC is a great idea.
The Armour Tank
The tank that comes with the Music TC is the Armour NS Plus tank. From appearances, the tank looks fairly standard. The Armour is a bottom airflow, top fill design that has one great little feature. The tank accepts a 1.3-ohm coil head which is excellent for MTL vaping of nicotine salts. This a great concept to allow vapers to switch between MTL high nicotine vaping and low nicotine DTL vaping.
The Armour is capable of a capacity of 2 ml or 4.5 ml depending on your preference.

Final Thoughts on WISMEC Active Bluetooth Music TC Kit
If it is not obvious, we think that the Music TC box mod is a bit of a gimmick. Not allowing for external batteries is likely going to be the death of this device. There are Bluetooth speakers on the market now that are cheaper and more powerful if that is what someone is looking for.
The added features also allow more room for problematic outcomes. We think that this device would have been better suited as just an active/water/shock resistant device for active people.
Only time will tell how WISMEC Active Bluetooth Music TC Kit will turn out but as all things go in vaping, there is something to appeal to every kind of person.
