Wismec Luxotic Design,Look and Feel
The most noticeable attribute of the device is its small size. Do not be fooled, the Luxotic is very satisfying, even for experienced vapers. Measuring in at 74.7 x 43.2 x 25.1mm this mech squonker is very pocket-friendly.
Design wise, the Luxoic is mostly anodized aluminim. On one side, the Luxotic displays in large lettering the Wismec name while the opposite side, the one which houses the battery and bottle, is covered with a resin battery plate. This beautiful plate comes in three unique designs which all make the Luxotic stand out. Finishing on the resin plate is a rubberized texture with a smooth feel. Located on the bottom of the Luxotic is a magnetized access plate which allows the user to remove the bottle without having to remove the battery door.
The device features a 7.5ml squonk bottle which should be more than enough to get through the day with only a couple refills. One minor design flaw with this system is that the metal tube that sits inside the bottle to feed the liquid to the atomizer is not quite long enough so a little bit of liquid is left over when it is time to remove/refill the bottle.
At the core, the device is quite simple with no flashy features. Operation of the device is as simple as five clicks of button to power on and continue to vaping. Lack of flashing lights,fancy features and large displays, the Luxotic shines as an aesthetic,portable and functional method for vapers to eliminate the need to drip eliquid into their atomizer at inconvenient times.
Wismec Luxotic Tobhino RDA Look, Feel and Design
Included with the device is the Tobhino single coil bottom feeding RDA. The first impression of the Tobhino is because of its small size.it is tricky to work on because clamp placement requires the user pre-bend the leads in order to get the coil to sit in place correctly. After some time using the Tobhino, users should get used to preparing the coil for placement into the build deck.
The Tobhino comes equipped with a beauty ring which also acts as a shield for heat transfer from the RDA to the device. Out of the box, the Tobhino has a small 510 drip tip but also has the option of adding an optional 810 drip tip for larger vapor delivery.
The design of the Tobhino is quite attractive but has a good basic feel to it which fits the overall idea of the Luxotic. Sitting at 28.8mm in height, the Tobhino is a 22mm RDA fully equipped to be used as a BF RDA or swap out the pin to attach it to any device.

It goes without saying that the combination of the Tobhino and Luxotic are meant to be as they are meant to be a pair. Unlike a regular mechanical mod, the Luxotic is a mechanical style squonker which means that it has a smart chip built that limits the power to 100w of output which also makes for better battery life.
The Tobhino RDA performs very well equipped with a single coil such as a fused clapton or regular clapton style coil. Flavor production from the Tobhino is pretty exceptional and vapor production is better than expected.
Combine together the Luxotic looks and performs like a luxury device. With it’s resin features, it is the cheapest device with high-end power in its class.

Jay-Bo designs have hit it out of the park with this squonker and Tobhino RDA. It’s aesthetic features could cost someone anywhere between 100 dollars and 300 dollars from a smaller custom mod maker. Simplistic and functional, the Luxotic is a work of art.
Powered by a single 18650 battery, the Luxotic can potentially last an entire day on two batteries such as the Samsung 30Q or LG HG2. It is highly recommended to only use a single coil atomizer with the Luxotic to maintain its battery performance. Using a dual coil atomizer could potentially stress the battery and greatly reduce the overall battery life.
Overall, the Luxotic is a very nice device. Whether you are looking for something small and portable to take on the go or to make the switch from conventional vaping to squonking, the Luxotic is an excellent choice.
