Wotofo Bravo RTA Introduction

Hey everyone, today I am here to introduce the Wotofo Bravo RTA. Wotofo has always, in my opinion, made a great product. To this day I still use the Troll RDA to help with my e-liquid reviews. Most recently I have been using a lot of different RTAs for my daily use products. The Bravo has had a full daily use since I first received it a few days back… Yes, it’s that good!

Wotofo Bravo RTA ReviewLet’s take a look at the Wotofo Bravo RTA.

Taking the Bravo out of the box it is easy to see that this is going to be a well-made product. Starting with the 810 resin drip tip, personally, I like these, I know others don’t but they are different to the normal plain drip tips. Of course, this is a removable drip tip so you can replace with one of your choosing if you so wish. Additionally, you can use the included 510 converter if you want. Under this is the top cap which a quick turn and you are ready to fill, line up the notch and a quick turn back to seal. Another great thing is the knurling around the edge of the top cap. It’s so grippy! Opening this baby is easy!

Next up is the juicing chamber itself. Now out of the box if you are anywhere other than a TPD controlled country like the UK you will have a 2ml chamber. Everywhere else it’s 4.5ml! It’s not a problem with the addition of a great big rubber plug is all that stands in your way of that extra 2.5ml that is missing. Pull the plug out, bin it and enjoy! We can further enhance the capacity by using the included bubble glass to give 6ml capacity.

The base has the same knurling found on the top cap and helps to turn the airflow easily. The airflow itself comes in two fair sized openings and then up into the deck rather than straight through. Now we are on to the important part, well for me anyway, the deck.

The Wotofo Bravo RTA Deck.

The deck itself looks great on first impressions, however, it’s a little fiddly at first to install coils due to how the clamp system works. Most clamp systems either consist of springs or you loosen the screws and lift the clamp. With the Bravo, however, you unscrew the four post screws and the clamp lowers from below.

A word of caution here, do not unscrew the screws all the way or else the clamp will drop off ( yes that is what I did ). But once you suss this part out, the building is nice and easy. Get your coils in and it is time to wick up. Cotton through the coils and get the ends down into the juice holes.

The Bravo deck is similar to a GTA. The cotton sits in the juice holes and the deck is slightly raised from the deck. You just need to make sure you wick properly as the Bravo is very unforgiving if you leave even the smallest place for the juice to flood. A lot of inspiration from mother RTA’s has been put into the Bravo and quite honestly it is a decent deck to build on!

Wotofo Bravo RTA User Experience

I have been using the Bravo for about 3 weeks, a little longer than I would normally take to get the review out but I have been busy with my day job. Aside from the other things I have been using this has been in use daily and I have loved it. Yes, I have had leaks from not wicking quite right. Yes, I loosened so much the clamp dropped off but it’s a learning curve, If I didn’t do it then I would not be able to tell you about not unscrewing too far or to make sure you wick properly.

Using it is an absolute dream, the flavour from it is absolutely beautiful and this has become my favourite RTA along with the Blitzen which I also highly recommend to you. The best flavour to airflow compromise I found for me was with the airflow around half open. Fully open and it is clouds for days. One thing that might annoy people is that it is a bit of a whistler at times! That sound does come and go and it makes me smile when you can see people trying to work out what it is! Cutting to the chase it’s a great tank and it just works. Pure and simple.
